SMASH YR. FINGERS is an experimental animation / film / video art screening event series created by and for fed up, marginalized Chicago videomakers. this project aims to showcase videos that bend mediums, break conventions, and speak in a language distinct to bipoc, queer, disabled, or anti-academic artists.
all events are piloted by dd o0 bentl, a chicago & kansas city based animator who has been running various DIY film & animation festivals since january 2023.
